This cover design was created for  Penguin's cover design award 2022.

My idea was to illustrate the seasonal flora and fauna of the UK, combined with carved typography inspired by Newgrange in Ireland.

For the marketing aspect of the project, there are limited edition cover designs for each season, to reflect how the book is categorized into seasons rather than numbered chapters. This also creates a community feel to the marketing, encouraging people to trade for the seasonal cover design they may prefer.
